More Savings on Long Island with Labor Day Around the Corner

As Labor Day rolls around, you can expect to see more savings opportunities on Long Island. This week we feature deals and coupons related to apparel, ice cream, dining with kids, music lessons and vision care.
- Sears Outlet is giving its Shop Your Way Rewards Members a Free piece of apparel on Aug. 28th. Certain exclusions apply. Locate a participating location from its website and click on “Print Coupon” at the bottom of the Apparel Collection page for the offer and additional details.
- Cold Stone Creamery is offering everyone a treat to beat the heat. Use this coupon to get a Free Creation when you buy another one of equal or lesser value. Coupon is valid thru Aug. 30.
- Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar restaurants in Suffolk and Nassau Counties are offering free kids’ meals on Labor Day for dine-in lunch and dinner. Each family can receive up to (2) free kids’ meals with each adult entrée order for kids under the age of 12. Kids’ menu selections include chicken tenders, mini cheeseburgers, grilled chicken sandwich, macaroni and cheese and grilled cheese, with a side dish and soft drink or milk.
- Huntington Music School at 32 Woodbury Road in Huntington offers piano lessons. Perfect piano playing skills you may already have or add a new music activity to your child’s schedule. Save with these coupons where you can get a 30 minute piano lesson and free evaluation for free or (4) 30 minute piano lessons for $89. Coupons expire Sept. 3.
- Sears Optical is offers special savings on eye exams for kids. You can get (2) complete pairs of glasses and 50% off Transitions adaptive lenses for $99.99. The deal is available for single vision ULTRAlight select polycarbonate lenses and on select frames. Make sure your kids get a back-to-school eye exam. According to the Vision Council of America, vision problems can interfere with learning and behavior. The offer is available thru Sept. 11.
- Dots, the women’s retail store with a new location just opened at Nassau Mall in Levittown provides fashionable and trendy apparel at affordable prices. There’s something to suit career women as well as outfits for casual and club wear in size 0 – 24. Save even more with these coupons offering $10 off a purchase of $35 or more or $15 off the purchase of $50 or more. Coupons are valid thru Oct. 25 at the Nassau Mall location.
