Joseph S. Bavaro Named to New York Super Lawyer List Huntington Resident Named Among Top 5% of New York Attorneys
Woodbury, NY… September 20, 2012… Joseph S. Bavaro, a partner at Salenger, Sack, Kimmel & Bavaro, LLP (SSB&K) has been named to the prestigious New York Super Lawyers list, which will be published Sunday, October 7, 2012 in The New York Times Sunday Magazine. A Huntington resident, Bavaro represents plaintiffs in personal injury cases and has been named to the Super Lawyer list consecutively since 2009. His partners, Marvin Salenger, Robert Sack and Jeffrey Kimmel join him on this distinguished 2012 roster. SSK&B concentrates its practice in personal injury and medical malpractice law.
The Super Lawyer designation is awarded to the top five percent of outstanding attorneys in New York State who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Joe is a past Chairman of the Nassau Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association, a 60-year old association representing nearly 400 Long Island litigators and the current vice president of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Richmond County, NY where he acted as lead prosecutor in the Sex Crimes Special Victims Unit. A graduate of the State University at Albany and Quinnipiac School of Law, Bavaro is admitted to the Bar in New York and the United States Federal Courts.
