Jane Monheit to Perform at Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts

The Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts will be presenting an off-season event in celebration of completing its 45th season of TimeOutNY/Kids. The center will be presenting "An Afternoon with Jane Monheit" on Saturday, October 14th. The Usdan-alumni Grammy Award nomiated jazz vocalist will be returning to perform two different concerts for her fans in the Long Island area. One performance will be at 2PM with an encore peformance scheduled at 4:30 that afternoon.

This event is a part of the  "Signature Series" that is a part of the Arts Alive LI: Celebrating Arts, Culture & Community put on by the Long Island Arts Alliance. Seating at the venue is limited to 120 seats and the tickets for the event will cost $75. The cost of admission also includes a post concert reception after each show.Tickets can be purchased at the Usdan website.

The Arts Alive LI is a new invitiative to bring some great performers to the people of Long Island, and is put on at several different venues island-wide. The events are to promote new and established arts festivals and introducing people to the joy of the arts. New festivals, events, and tours are being collaborated on through the work of different ogranizations and communities to continue throughout the month.
