Bethpage Air Show to Be Held May 25th and 26th

The 9^th Annual Bethpage Air Show is a little over a month away! It will be held May 25^th and 26^{th on} Jones Beach. This air show is being held in combination by the Bethpage Credit Union and the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation. Headlining the show will be the United States Navy Blue Angels military jet team.

Military performers that you will be able to enjoy include the United States Navy Blue Angels, Royal Canadian Air Force Snowbirds, the United States Army Gold Knights Parachute Team, the United States Navy F18 Super Hornet, the 106^th New York Air National Guard Rescue Demo Wing HC-130/HH-60, and the U.S. Air Force’s F-22 Raptor.

Civilian performers include the American Airpower Museum Warbirds, GEICO Skytypers, Sean D. Tucker – Team Oracle, Lt. Col. John Klatt – National Guard Reserve, World Renowned Sports Aviator Mike Goulian, Matt Chapman, David Windmiller, and Ed Hamill, who will fly the Bethpage Bi-Plane.

Admission is free, but you will have to pay the $10 vehicle use fee that will be collected daily upon admission to the park. Bring your chairs and sunscreen for a fun afternoon watching planes soar high above you! Air show starts at 10AM, so get there early for maximum enjoyment.
