Babylon Village Arts Council - Call for Artists

The Babylon Village Arts Council, a not-for profit community organization, invites Long Island
artists (all media) to exhibit their work at its Fifth Annual Outdoor Art Exhibit entitled "Art by
the Falls" to be held on May 19, 2012. (Rain date: May 20, 2012) Exhibition time will be from
11:00-4:00, not including setup/breakdown time. Artists must submit an application including
up to three examples of their work in JPEG format on CD, between 500K and 1MB, a
bio/statement, and a $25 participation fee, no later than April 13, 2012 . Participants will receive
a free BVAC membership. The fee will be waived for existing BVAC members. For
application and further inquiries please contact Rose Norman at 631.669.1810 or download an
application form from the BVAC website at www.babylonvillagearts.org. If you have
previously submitted examples of your work, then send application and fee only.

Artists must submit up to three examples of their work in JPEG format on CD, between 500K and
1MB along with a $25 participation fee made payable to Babylon Village Arts Council and mailed
to: BVAC, PO Box 141, Babylon Village, NY 11702. Participants will receive a free BVAC
membership. The fee will be waived for existing BVAC members. All media welcomed. Statement
and bio is requested. Please enclose s.a.s.e. for submission returns. If you have previously submitted
examples of your work, then send application and fee only.
All participants are kindly requested to donate 10% of sales proceeds to the Babylon Village Arts
Council to help defray expenses and sustain art programs.

Artists are responsible to secure and protect their artwork during outdoor art exhibit. The Babylon
Village Arts Council is not liable for damage, missing or stolen art works. Please take care of your
art.
