This is one of the best fine dining restaurants ever. We just love the ambiance. It's old-fashioned and actually is some kind of historical building. What a charming and incredible place this is! This inn has so much history, including the American Revolution and a family that played a big role in shipping history, how cool is that. The original building was (mostly) destroyed in a fire not that long ago, but in 2005 they started to rebuild/refurbish it into the lovely place it is now.

Contrary to the name, it's not really an inn; it's a fancy restaurant for historical fine dining. The menu is expensive, as is admission to any of the manor's events, but the food is amazing! I really hope we can go back there someday. I still remember what I had: pan roasted duck (the only duck I've ever had in my life), with lingonberry sauce, sage, and black pepper fettuce. Absolutely wonderful cooking. I had the Vanilla Strawberry Tart for dessert, which was topped with ample fresh berries. It was light but at the same time decadent.
