When it comes to New Year's Eve and the celebration of all things new and fresh, it is important to start the year off right with a great meal. Of course, with the incredible array of Long Island restaurants this is a relatively easy thing to do. So, it is easy to miss a great place while trying out another. This New Year's Eve maybe give a few restaurants a chance that you may have bypassed or haven't had time to. You will find not only a great meal, but a great price.

The first is a great place in Jericho called Market Bistro. It is a traditional American Bistro that is incredibly laid back and inviting. Most of the time if you have gone there once you instantly want to go back. Their menus offers many different kinds of entrees that you will want to continue coming back just to try everything.

Another great Long Island fine dining spot is French and American restaurant Nocturne. Located in Babylon this a beautiful place to take some time out to enjoy simply being. The sunny dining area creates a warm, airy feeling while you sample the incredible food. While they specialize in French cuisine the seafood is also very good. For example the curry-seasoned halibut and buttery pan-seared scallops are well worth the trip.

For those looking for Italian fare, then the Ciao Bella! is a lively place with incredible food and unforgettable friendliness. Featuring full flavored, authentic Italian cuisine, you almost feel like you are in the heart of Southern Italy as you enjoy the spaghetti alla carbonara, stuffed calamari, and cavatelli alla Bolognese.
