The Third Annual NYChiliFest 2013 Takes Over Chelsea Market

On Sunday, January 27th, 2013 from 7pm – 9pm, hungry New Yorkers will descend once again on Chelsea Market for the third annual NYChilifest, presented by Dickson’s Farmstand Meats and The Cleaver Company with proceeds benefitting Food Systems Network NYC in support of their efforts to build a vibrant, local farm and food economy for all.
Entrance to NYChiliFest entitles ticketholders access to a 500-foot concourse of chili served by dozens of NYC's best restaurants and acclaimed chefs, including Beer Table, Delaney BBQ and Pies n’ Thighs, among others, all competing for the Golden Chili Mug 2013 title. Samuel Adams joins the festivities this year and will be providing four of their favorite chili-friendly beers, which will be available at several locations along the concourse. And back by popular demand, the knee-slapping good tunes of country band The Dixon’s will keep everyone entertained.
Dickson’s Farmstand Meats is, once again, supplying each chef with 100% dry-aged, locally raised beef from Wrighteous Organics in Schoharie, NY. In addition to providing a level playing field for the competition, the meat reflects the inspiration behind the event: to use responsibly raised whole animals to create delicious food.
