SENATOR LINDSEY GRAHAM ANNOUNCES ENDORSEMENT OF STEPHEN LABATE FOR CONGRESS

Huntington, NY (September 27, 2012) – South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham today announced his endorsement of Stephen Labate in his bid for the U.S. Congress.

In a statement released to the Labate Campaign, Senator Graham said, “Stephen Labate is an Iraq War veteran who served our country with honor and distinction.  As an Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel, Steve is a leader who understands how to take the fight to the enemy and keep our country safe.”

“We need more leaders in Congress, like Stephen Labate, who are willing to put the needs of country above their own personal interests. I’m proud to support Steve’s candidacy for the House of Representatives in Congressional District 3.”

In response to the news that Senator Graham endorsed his candidacy, Labate said, “I am humbled to have the support of one of this country’s most senior political leaders. Senator Graham and I share a bond, as we are both Field Grade Officers in the U.S. military, and we both have a passion for serving and defending our country. I am so thankful for his support.”

Stephen Labate is a candidate for Congress in New York’s 3rd Congressional District and is looking to use a common sense approach his constituents deserve. He is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve and a Financial Planner. He resides in Suffolk County, NY with his wife and two children.
