Riverhead Chamber of Commerce to Host an Evening of Networking at Award Winning Blackwells Restaurant

July 26, 2012 5:30pm – 7:30pm at Blackwells, Great Rock Golf Club

141 Fairway Drive, Wading River

The Riverhead Chamber of Commerce invites you to kick-off the summer season by joining them on July 26, 2012 for an evening of networking at Blackwells Restaurant located at Great Rock Golf Club.

Events such as this, is an important tool for business people and non-business people alike for the exchanging of ideas. The Chamber encourages its members to attend, not only their own, but other events to promote themselves and their businesses.

Guests will enjoy a carving station, passed hors d’ouevres, wine, beer and soft drinks amid Blackwells fine décor with rich mahogany accents or outside on the patio taking in views of the golf course. Either inside or outside, the comfortable and sophisticated atmosphere will allow for networking at its best.

This is not the first time that the Riverhead Chamber of Commerce and Great Rock have paired up. For the past two seasons, Great Rock has partnered with the Chamber in promoting golf in our local area through the creation of a golf discount book program. The Chamber markets the golf books to bring more golfers to the Riverhead area, subsequently becoming diners and return visitors.

Just recently, Great Rock was awarded 2012 Golf Course of the Year by the Long Island Golf Course Association and Blackwells is the 2012 recipient of Long Island Restaurant News Finest Plate Award. The Riverhead Chamber of Commerce is proud to hold its networking event at Blackwells and congratulates Great Rock and Blackwells on their recent accomplishments.

Hors d’ouevres, wine, beer, soft drinks and the opportunity to network is $25 for Chamber members; $30 for non-members; $35 at the door. Reservations are highly recommended.
