FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: As part of their effort to bring the best Events and Things to Do to Long Islanders, LongIsland.com’s Editor in Chief, Cait Russell, is now participating in a regular radio segment on WLIE 540AM every Sunday morning, reviewing the best upcoming happenings from the events calendar. The segment, “My Friend George”, hosted by GeorgeRomano, is featured on WLIE 540AM every Sunday Morning from 9-10AM, and reaches an audience of thousands on Long Island, and in the surrounding tri-state area.
In March of this year, LongIsland.com launched a completely new site design that is more interactive for users – one of the major highlights being an improved events calendar packed with a robust assortment of upcoming events. Cait Russell, Editor in Chief, has been quoted as saying “There is always something to do on Long Island – you just need to know where to find it!” This proactive attitude has lead her and the content team at LongIsland.com to create a truly thorough resource for local events and happenings, and now, every Sunday morning, she will be highlighting the best upcoming events on the radio segment “My Friend George”.
