Long Island Gets Healthy At The Mind Body Spirit Expo - July 24, 2013

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – July 17, 2013 - On July 24, 2013, The Mind Body Spirit Stress Management & Health Expo LI hosted by GEM Magazine LI is set to kick off at Carlyle on the Green, located at 99 Quaker Meeting House Road at Bethpage State Park, Farmingdale, NY. The Expo which runs from 5pm to 9pm is dedicated to helping individuals improve their overall health, well-being and the QUALITY OF LIFE on Long Island. Proceeds will benefit the Maurer Foundation for Breast Health Education on Long Island. With over 60+ vendors, exhibitors and sponsors on display, including health and holistic practitioners, this is Long Island's #1 Mind Body Spirit Stress Management & Health Expo.

With an emphasis on natural and holistic health, personal growth, natural weight loss, nutrition, yoga, massage, spirituality, meditation, bio-feedback, psychic and spiritual advisory, Reiki, Tai Chi, aromatherapy, vegan health, complementary medicine and nutrition, and more, The Mind Body Spirit Stress Management & Health Expo LI is the best source for all your health & wellness needs.

The Long Island Professional Women’s Network (LIPWN), 106.1 WBLI and GEM Magazine Long Island Women's Magazine invite you to partner/sponsor in hosting this one-of-a-kind event with Master of Ceremonies Donna Martini, Lead Ambassador of Wellness and Green for Nassau County.

Eight Long Island motivational and professional speakers (including Neeta Minal Shah MD, FACP) will headline with discussions, lectures and workshops for attendees to learn alternative ways of relieving stress, proper nutrition, and overall wellness, with introduction to complementary medicine.

Individuals are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance (also sold at door on day of the event) as a very large attendance is anticipated. Guest performers will include The Ghada Girls, Caravan Connection/Tribal Dance Long Island, plus special appearances by Long Island celebrities, Chef Barret Beyer from Hell's Kitchen, and Astra from Long Island’s Hit Radio Station,106.1 WBLI.
