Our Lady of Consolation Announces the Appointment of John Dominici as Manager/Executive Chef of Culinary Services 

West Islip, NY 11795 - Our Lady of Consolation Nursing & Rehabilitative Care Center, located in West Islip, is proud to announce the appointment of John Dominici as Manager/Executive Chef of Culinary Services.

John comes to Our Lady of Consolation with many years of culinary experience. Prior to joining Our Lady of Consolation, John was the owner of Our Little Italy Restaurant in West Islip as well as the Manager of Vinnie’s Mulberry Street in East Islip. As part of John’s new role he is assisting in the implementation of a new culinary system throughout Our Lady of Consolation to better serve the residents and enhance their dining experience. John looks forward to the opportunity and challenges in his new role.  John resides in East Islip with his wife Camille, daughter Leah, son John and daughter in law Heather.

Our Lady of Consolation is a 450-bed nursing and rehabilitative care center conducted in the tradition of the Sisters of St. Dominic since 1894 and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). As a member of Catholic Health Services of Long Island, Our Lady of Consolation plays an integral role in the health care delivery system of the Diocese of Rockville Centre and offers expertise in the field of long term care and sub-acute care.
