Towers helped us lay both our parents to rest--they were killed in a house fire a few months ago. Our family was a wreak. I was put in charge, because I'm the oldest, but in charge or in control of myself was the last thing I felt. I couldn't have gotten through it without the help and direction provided by the funeral home. Having to plan a funeral is never a good thing ... but it's a little bit easier when the funeral home is helpful and understanding, which Towers Funeral Home most certainly was. I was so intimidated by the prospect of organizing Dad's funeral, and my mother was a mess ... she couldn't do it, so it fell to me as the oldest.
