A delightful restaurant which always satisfies. I love the food here. The portions are small but every bite is a dream! I also have to praise the staff, which are outstanding every time.

Delicious food and a really nice restaurant. The only drawback is that the service is so, so slow on busy nights. I've had to learn their schedule and avoid the crowds. When it's quieter though, it's perfect.

I like The Hook. They don't serve huge portions, but then again, I don't need huge portions. I'm a 130 pound woman. I don't eat like a pig. I do eat with discernment though, and I've enjoyed everything I've ever ordered here. Great seafood restaurant in Babylon.

Hey, I think this restaurant is pretty good. The portions aren't that big, I agree on that point with the critics. But they are SO good! I've never been disappointed with the food here. And I have no idea why so many people say that they're understaffed. I don't think I share the typical dinner hours with most other people though, so maybe I come in at better times when they're less crowded. And they do get crowded, which in itself is a testament to the restaurant's popularity with Long Island folk.

I was not a big fan. To me the restaurant seemed like it was understaffed a bit, and the portions were quite small given the high prices. I guess that's kind of typical at expensive restaurants, but I've been to enough which served me reasonable amounts for my money that I've come to expect more. The food itself wasn't bad. I just would have been happier had I gone elsewhere.
