So weird that the Super Bagel is closed! I read the stories and could not believe it. I used to eat here when I was younger, before I moved away for college. Now I'm back here and I'm like, "Where's Super Bagel??" And then I heard. Well, I will miss them! Edna from Syosset, NY on Jan 20, 2013
It's so weird about this place closing, and the reason ... wow. I used to come in here all the time when I was growing up. I remember Bob and Ann. They were like, normal people from what I could tell. And one of my friends in high school even worked here for a couple of years. I used to live in Huntington. Then I moved away from Long Island for a few years, and came back later. And now I'm in Greenlawn. I'm prefacing this like this because you see, I used to love coming into Super Bagel, and a lot of other people did too. It was a very popular little restaurant, run by Bob and Ann. What's crazy is ... when I moved away and came back, I found out it was gone. When I looked up why it had closed, the last thing I expected to find out was that Bob had murdered Ann one day ... in the store. How weird is that? They seemed like nice enough people.
