A tasty but slow recipe in Montauk. The food is actually quite good, but you have to be forewarned that the service here is almost ludicrously slow at times. There is really no excuse for that. The waiters are very nice, but they seem like they need to hire more of them. Come here during the day and you’ll love the views out the window of the ocean. So it’s at least the kind of place you can relax. Music selection is annoying, but when it gets crowded, you can’t hear it anyway. So, on to the food, which is really the highlight here. The appetizers I’ve tried are all awesome, especially the mac and cheese one, which is very creamy! The flatbread pizza is really excellent. Don’t skip dessert either. The chocolate cake is wonderful. And be sure to check out the drink menu for a nice wine selection. Prices are high, and that’s my only other complaint. So perfect restaurant? No, but still a good one if you’re willing to wait.
