This is a beautiful catering hall. Unbelievably so. We loved it when we drove up to it before we had even been inside. It was just really sophisticated looking, and we knew it was going to be something special. Our wedding here was phenomenal. Sands Catering Hall is a nice place, really spacious and versatile for all kinds of events. It is known and preferred for the bar mitzvahs and the other balls that it organizes. There are weddings performed there and other events of all kinds, as mentioned. We have attended the Sands Catering Halls for quite a few occassions and generally I have to say that I have been impressed by their pure professionalism and attitude towards all the people that are invited. They offer a nice selection of food and drink as a catering service, they surpass their duties in order to make you feel welcome and they are frank and helpful to all. My son and his wife chose this venue for their wedding reception, and we all really liked it. While there are a lot of cozy, old style catering halls in Long Island with classic furniture, we wanted something more open and modern. Sands is a lot roomier than some other venues and had plenty of room for all of our guests while still feeling comfortable. It's also very stylish; we loved the cool lighting and the modern sophistication of the place. This is a great choice for a reception or for any large event you have to host. Share Your Review
