I saved up for a long time so that I could replace the shower curtain, and then I ended up actually getting a whole new tub/shower unit installed. Why? Well, I looked on the OMG Shower Doors site and I saw these beautiful standalone type units with glass on three sides. I had never seen anything like that before, and I just thought they were outstandingly elegant, especially since they make them so you can't see a frame. Just a glass cube. I went for a design like that, which meant I had to do over the whole bathroom in order to move the tub away from its old location against the wall. I went with one of those frosted glass type designs that you can put on the doors, a floral thing my wife picked out. The result is one of the most elegant bathrooms I've ever seen.
