I love spicy food. I'd never tried Thai before, and my girlfriend took me here on a date for our three month anniversary. It is so good! The food was super spicy. I asked for it hot and they did not disappoint! I've really been missing out. I'm so glad she introduced me to this restaurant.

Restaurants just do not get better than this. I never had Thai food before until I ate here, so I can't really compare it with anything else, but I can say it's some of the tastiest food I've had, period. This is always my first restaurant of choice when I go out!

I absolutely love Thai food, and this place prepares some of the best red curry I've ever had! It's nice and creamy, not all soupy and watered down like you get at some cheaper places. It has just the right balance of spiciness and creamy flavor. They also don't skimp on the portions or give you chewy or stringy meat. I recommend you order some extra rice to go along with it since that stretches it and you definitely can get more out of it that way at a reasonable price. I also recommend that you try the coconut vegetable soup sometime. It has the perfect taste of lemongrass, and is very refreshing!

If you are looking for authentic Thai food in NYC, you must visit the Lawan Thai Restaurant for their delectable food presented to you in a gourmet way. I’m a regular there and often have my family and friends for company. They love the food too, and I’m a happy diner.
