HR Block does my taxes every year. I am self employed, and it is way too complicated to do my own taxes, especially since I earn money at different rates throughout the year, and the forms for that are an absolute nightmare. I still do my own quarterly taxes, and I seem to be a pretty good estimate, but if I wasn't, I'd do that here too. They just do the annual forms for me at the end of the tax year and make sure that everything is ship-shape and on track. I needed help with my taxes, and had just moved to the area, so I didn't know any good local accountants yet, and I really wanted to get everything squared away so that I wasn't waiting until April 15 to get my taxes in. So I went to H&R Block for the first time ever. They did a pretty decent job. The price was NOT cheap. And I do plan to use a local accountant next year. I got my refund though, and there were no hassles. So all in all it was still a positive experience, and I know I'll get the maximum refund. Share Your Review
