This department store has been around since I was a child. I remember my parents bringing me here while they did their shopping for around the house, and now i'm the one shopping for my house! They have everything here! And the nicest staff you will ever meet!

I love this department store! They have two historic locations on either side of Long Island. I would never go to JC Penny or Target when I can go to Hildreth. They have all the stuff you'd expect to find in a major department store - bed & bath, lighting, furniture, fabric and so on, and they also have some unique regional stuff like driftwood to decorate your home. It is a very lovely shop, and I highly recommend popping in if you've never been there. If you're a local, it'll quickly become one of your favorite stores. If you're visiting, you'll find sundries for your vacation and souvenirs to remember your trip!
