I came in here a few weeks back because I had a panic attack. I didn't know that at the time, mind you; I thought I was having a heart attack, and I was utterly terrified. It was probably one of the single most terrifying events of my life. The doctors explained to me that all my tests were fine and that there was nothing physically wrong with me. I would have had a hard time believing this if my orderly hadn't told me that he himself suffers from panic disorder and had experienced similar events in the past. The doctors were extremely reassuring and patient, and were willing to take time to answer my questions about both my symptoms and the anxiety as a whole. I was surprised when they didn't try to prescribe me medication, and even cautioned me against relying on it. I used to think doctors would tell you anything to get you on some kind of pills so they could make more money. But here they seem to really care about their patients. Also, they told me about OTC sleep meds, which for some reason I didn't realize existed. They have helped me out a great deal. EE from Orient, NY on Aug 18, 2011
Well, it's a hospital, and I can say they are hospitable. Very nice nurses, and doctors. After being in a car accident, I needed to stay for a couple of days. I feel like I got really good medical care, but what made it nicer was they way all the nurses treated me. It was as if they really did care about whether I was comfortable or not. Share Your Review
