Dessert--I could take it or leave it back before I knew about this amazing little bakery in Commack! Now I find I'm becoming a connoisseur. Their cookies have literally redefined the idea for me--and their cake! Their cake is so moist. Never dry like the stuff you get at the grocery store out of a box. And subtle. There are a surprising number of wonderful little bakeries hidden away on Long Island. In my last neighborhood (on the west coast in Los Angeles), I never found a single bakery like Casa Dolce. Everything was mast produced stuff you'd buy at Von's or similar. LI though has these little hidden gems. Casa Dolce isn't too far from my house, so I come here a lot. The cakes and stuff are less expensive than they'd be at a grocery store and much much tastier. Share Your Review
