I’m a vet; got wounded when I was overseas. I struggled for something like a year to try and get my life together and get back to doing the things I did before I went on my tour. I came here because I was out of ideas, and I had always wanted a dog anyway. They selected an amazing furry guy to be my companion. He’s as well trained as any dog I ever worked with in the military, and he really has made my life a lot easier. He’s made it better too—I’ve benefited as much from having someone amazing to keep me company as I have from all the tasks he can help me with.
