The Atlantis Marine World Aquarium is a full sized aquarium that has the theme of the lost city of Atlantis. There are indoor and outdoor events, making the center open year round, however dress for the weather if you plan to go outside. There are sharks, fish, sea life, turtles and reptiles on display in their natural habitat settings. The aquarium conducts many educational lessons for children and is also available for private parties on Long Island Atlantis Banquets and Events. The center has the capability to rescue and rehabilitate sea turtles and marine mammals that are found in Long Island waters in distress.
