I needed to get an appraisal on the value of my house for reasons relating to my home loan. My lender gave me a choice of appraisers, and I ended up choosing the Appraisal Institute Long Island Chapter. I saw their good reviews and hoped they'd be able to give me the appraisal I needed. They did a great job and they were quick and efficient about everything; I was able to get through the hassle with my loan quickly and now things are back on track.
