Applebees used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but it seems to me like their service has gone south over time. I have noticed this not just at this particular Applebees, but at other Applebees chain restaurants that I've been to over the past year. I don't really know what the decline is all about, but I think that I will be looking for a new restaurant where I can feel more comfortable eating. I have never really gotten into Applebee's. Not sure why. It's a very average restaurant to me. I've been to several in different locations, and they were all about the same to me. It's cool there are so many options on their menu, so you can get pretty much whatever you're in the mood for, even if the other people you're with want to eat something totally different. Like I've come here, gotten Mexican food, and my husband's gotten Italian, and my kids have gotten sandwiches.

But I don't think they are brilliant at any of the dishes they do. So it's a breadth over depth, quantity over quality thing. The food is good, don't get me wrong. Just not great. Share Your Review
