Couple months back, our car needed to go to the shop for repairs for about a week. I was dreading how much inconvenience this would cause me, having to run errands, get to and from work, and get my kid to school. We tried to do it all with the bus for the first couple of days and it was horrible. Everything was always slow/late/etc, and need I tell you how awful the people on the bus can be? Finally my wife was like, "Just rent a car." We rented from Hertz for the remainder of the week. I don't mind at all the cost we had to pay. It was worth it to get to be on time - and not on the bus.
