The Bridgeport & Port Jefferson steamboat company offers a unique way to get back and forth to Bridgeport and Port Jefferson.  Reservations are recommended if you choose this mode of transportation as it fills up quickly with passengers and cargo. The trip will take approximately one hour and 15 minutes from the time it leaves dock until it reaches the other dock. There is a snack bar and a lounge on board for passengers to enjoy during the trip. Off season schedule has limited times for departures and arrivals and they may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
