Jack Bransfield conslultant to Bethpage

Bethpage, New York – July 1, 2013 – Bethpage Federal Credit Union, New York State’s largest credit union, has engaged Jack Bransfield, former president, Roslyn Savings Bank, as a consultant.  Bransfield will work with Bethpage to facilitate community outreach programs, as well as provide counsel on real estate and development initiatives.

“We are very fortunate to have Jack join the Bethpage family in a consultant capacity,” said Kirk Kordeleski, President & CEO, Bethpage.  “Jack has attained many great achievements in Long Island’s banking arena over the years and is a recognized leader, known for his valued counsel and advancements in community banking initiatives.  We look forward to a strong working relationship.” 

Bransfield recently retired from his position as president of Roslyn Savings Bank, which he joined in 1993, and which was acquired by New York Community Bancorp in 2001.  Bransfield is also the retired chairman of the New York Community Bank Foundation.    

“I have always admired Bethpage’s accomplishments and unwavering commitment to our region,” said Jack Bransfield.  “Kirk Kordeleski is recognized as one of Long Island’s key influencers and the credibility of the Bethpage name is vast.  I look forward working with the entire Bethpage organization.”

Bransfield, who resides in Glen Cove, is also the chairman of Castagna Realty in Manhasset,  the Tilles Center for Performing Arts in Greenvale and the Long Island Arts Alliance.  He is a board member of Old Westbury Gardens, The Henry Viscardi School, Long Island University and St. Joseph’s College.
