Award Winning Public Relations Firm Promotes New Leadership

Melville, NY November 9, 2012 – Lisa Gordon of Valley Stream, NY was recently appointed to Senior Vice President at HJMT Public Relations, Inc., the nationally recognized full service public relations, social media, graphic design and event planning firm.

As Senior Vice President, Ms. Gordon is responsible for overseeing the firm’s public relations efforts, which includes creating press materials, gaining publicity, raising awareness for clients, managing accounts and assisting with new business and firm growth.

Ms. Gordon has worked at HJMT since June 2006. Prior to this role, she was HJMT’s Vice President, Public Relations. Before that she worked at the Nassau Country Club and the Homewood Suites by Hilton, where she was awarded the Hilton’s Spirit of Pride Award for excellence in customer service. Ms. Gordon graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Magazine Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. In her spare time, Ms. Gordon volunteers for the American Cancer Society.
